Yelena is a specialist in the late medieval-early modern European religious thought. She has published extensively on the late medieval theologian Jean Gerson and his legacy, including her book Le siécle d’or de la mystique française (Paris/Milan 2004).
Yelena is the President of the International Jean Gerson Society and a member of the advisory board and contributor for the Crosscurrents magazine, NY. Her second book was published in July 2010: Saluting Aron Gurevich: Essays in History, Literature and Related Studies. Editor & contributor. Brill Academic Publishers (Leiden, Netherlands).
